W. Shannon Potter Lead Pastor
Shannon has been the Lead Pastor of EPC since July 2005. He is married to Jennifer and together they have three children. Shannon is a highly relational and Jesus-centred leader, with a passion for mentoring and developing other leaders. As a leader who has increasingly prioritized the strengthening of church communities that reflect and serve their local neighbourhood, Shannon is justice-oriented, and values diversity and inclusion as essential in facing the challenges of change within the Canadian context. Shannon is passionate about family, living intentionally, communicating with grace, building authentic relationships, and cross cultural engagement.
Jennifer Potter Assistant Pastor
Jennifer is married to Shannon and together they have three adult children. Jennifer’s primary role at EPC is Community Connections – bridging the church to the community and the community to the church. Having a heart for social justice, the passion of Jennifer's life is being actively engaged in anti human trafficking efforts - both bringing public awareness to the issue and providing support for survivors. She is the Founder of 4:ONE, and also the board Chair for Restorations Second Stage Homes.
Scott Moore Youth/YA Pastor
Scott graduated from Master's College & Seminary in 2017, with a Bachelor of Theology in Youth Ministry, and joined the EPC staff in March 2020. Scott's desire is to minister to the next generation, as he mentors & encourages students to make the faith journey their own. He has a heart for youth in the community, creating a space that is welcoming to all young people from every walk of life, and invites them to share the love of God that transforms them with everyone they encounter. Scott is married to Esther and together they have two beautiful daughters. And if anyone comes to him wanting to chat about anything Star Wars related, you've earned yourself a lifelong friend.
Jonathan (Jono) Miller Worship Director
Jono is a singer, songwriter and former worship director at Kensington Temple, a diverse and vibrant church in the heart of London's Notting Hill Gate. Jono has been involved in various aspects of church leadership and ministry life for over 20 years, including teaching, pastoring and developing the worship life of the church. He is passionate about people encountering the person of Jesus Christ and the role worship has to play in restoring God's glory in the church. Jono and family have just relocated to Oakville, ON from London, UK. Married to his wife Laura and two boys, Evan and Seth, they embark on a fresh adventure of life here in Canada!
Esther Moore Children's Ministry Coordinator
Esther Graduated from Master’s College and Seminary in 2016 with a Diploma in Theology. She is married to Scott and together they have two beautiful daughters. Working with children, providing creative environments, and sharing the love of Jesus Chist are some of Esther’s greatest passions. She has experience working with kids of all ages and operating in a variety of roles that include camps, church, and childcare. At EPC, Esther enjoys providing a fun and engaging place where kids can explore and learn more about God and the Bible.
Monica Rodriguez Office Administrator
Monica has been attending EPC since 2009. She is married and has two amazing daughters. Her primary role now includes: reception, accounting, record keeping, scheduling appointments, arranging weddings and baby dedications, and various other administrative office duties. She loves helping people. Monica speaks English and Spanish, and understands French, Italian, and Portuguese.
