W. Shannon Potter Lead Pastor
Shannon has been the Lead Pastor of EPC since July 2005. He is married to Jennifer and together they have three children. Shannon graduated from Eastern Pentecostal Bible College in 1988 with a Bachelor of Theology degree (Cultural Studies) and in 2016 he graduated from Tyndale University College & Seminary with a Masters of Theological Studies degree. Shannon is ordained with the Western Ontario District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. Shannon is passionate about living missionally, communicating the Word of God with grace and truth, building authentic relationships, mentoring, leadership development, cross cultural ministry, and seeing the church realize the full potential of Jesus’ call to make apprentices. In his free time Shannon enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and building and refinishing furniture .
Marc Gauvreau Associate Pastor
Marc joined our staff May 2015 after serving in a consultant role since September 2014. He is married to Karen and they have four boys: Ayden, Liam, Rylan and Landon. Marc graduated from EPBC in 1991. He completed his M.Div from Tyndale Seminary in Spring of 2010. He has also trained in Spiritual Direction at Tyndale Seminary and is presently working towards official certification as a spiritual director. He has been ordained with the PAOC since the spring of 1993 and also serves as adjunct faculty at Sanctus School for Worshippers and is an instructor and spiritual director with Emmaus Formation Centre. His area of passion is discipleship and spiritual formation and aspires to see Christ formed in the people of God (Gal.4:19; Col.1:28-29). Marc loves fishing, volleyball, softball and landscaping.
Jennifer Potter Assistant Pastor
Jennifer is married to Shannon and together they have three amazing children. Jennifer’s primary role at EPC is Community Connections – bridging the church to the community and the community to the church - which just so happens to be the passion of her life. Jennifer is also actively engaged in anti human trafficking efforts and is the Founder of 4:ONE – an anti human trafficking organization.
Lindsay Cox Youth/YA Pastor
Lindsay joined our EPC staff in June 2018. She is happily married to her husband Nate and is a recent graduate of Master’s College and Seminary. She has a Bachelor’s of Theology with a specialized major in Youth Ministry. Lindsay’s heart is to see the younger generations rise up to fully grasp their identity in Christ; to clearly see their untapped potential for greater things. Her desire is for youth and young adults to boldly step into the adventure that is much larger than themselves: showing love to the marginalized, proclaiming the Gospel with courage and authority, and ultimately, making disciples. Lindsay truly believes that youth and young adults have what it takes to make a lasting impact for Christ in our community and world.
Ashley Kenny Children's Pastor
Ashley joined the EPC team in September 2018. Ashley has loved been involved in Children’s Ministry since graduating from Master’s College and Seminary in 2016 with her Bachelor’s of Theology degree with Highest Honours. She is currently working on her RECE Diploma at Sheridan. She is from small town Acton and has a big passion for teaching the Word of God and seeing kids become the incredible world changers they are meant to be. Ashley strives to see kids make meaningful connections, and also experience God in a fun and creative way. Ashley also loves singing and song writing, classic rock, coffee, gelato, travelling and her cat Argyle.
Tyler Seidenberg Worship Director
Tyler is a professional pianist, vocalist, and composer. He completed his A. Piano Perf. from CNCM, studied advanced music theory and digital audio production at APU, and completed his B.Mus. degree from McMaster University. He graduated with honours from the audio engineering program at Number 9 Recording Studios and received his B.Ed. from OISE - University of Toronto. For over five years, Tyler toured North America ministering to tens of thousands of people as a member of the Christian music groups God Rocks! and Carried Away. He and his wife Jorielle have a deep passion for people to experience a life-changing encounter with Christ, especially through musical worship, and served as the youth ministers at St. Matthew parish for five years. They have four daughters together, Olivia, Sophia, Hannah, and Ava and continue to minister throughout Halton Region in various ways.
Cindy Joiner Office Administrator
Cindy has been on staff at EPC since 2005. Her responsibilities include: reception, accounting, record keeping, scheduling pastoral appointments, arranging weddings and baby dedications, and various other administrative office duties. Cindy attended Beulah Heights Bible College in Atlanta,Georgia, Central Bible College, Springfield, Missouri, and Pro Linguis School, Thiaumont, Belgium. Cindy served two years with MAPS( Mobilization and Placement Services) of the Assemblies of God working with Eurasia Teen Challenge.
