W. Shannon Potter Lead Pastor

Shannon has served as Lead Pastor of EPC since July 2005. He and his wife, Jennifer, are the proud parents of three children. Known for his relational approach and Jesus-centred leadership, Shannon is deeply passionate about mentoring and equipping others for ministry and life. He is committed to cultivating communities that genuinely reflect and serve their local neighbourhoods. With a strong commitment to justice, diversity, and inclusion, Shannon believes these values are essential for faithfully engaging the evolving Canadian context. He values intentional living, clear and gracious communication, authentic relationships, and meaningful cross-cultural connection.

Scott Moore Associate Pastor - Next Generation Ministries

Scott graduated from Master's College & Seminary in 2017, with a Bachelor of Theology in Youth Ministry, and joined the EPC staff in March 2020. Having been in full-time ministry for over a decade, Scott's desire is to minister to the next generation, as he mentors & encourages young people to make the faith journey their own. He has a heart for youth in the community, creating a space that is welcoming to all young people from every walk of life, and invites them to share the love of God that transforms them with everyone they encounter. Scott is married to Esther and together they have two beautiful daughters. He also loves coffee and is happy to grab one with anyone who asks!

Jonathan (Jono) Miller Assistant Pastor - Worship

Jono is a singer, songwriter and former worship director at Kensington Temple, a diverse and vibrant church in the heart of London's Notting Hill Gate. Jono has been involved in various aspects of church leadership and ministry life for over 20 years, including teaching, pastoring and developing the worship life of the church. He is passionate about people encountering the person of Jesus Christ and the role worship has to play in restoring God's glory in the church. Jono and family have relocated to Oakville, ON from London, UK. Married to his wife Laura and two boys, Evan and Seth, they embark on a fresh adventure of life here in Canada!

Jennifer Potter Assistant Pastor - Community Connections

Jennifer is married to Shannon and together they have three adult children. Jennifer’s primary role at EPC is Community Connections – bridging the church to the community and the community to the church. Having a heart for social justice, the passion of Jennifer's life is being actively engaged in anti human trafficking efforts - both bringing public awareness to the issue and providing support for survivors. She is the Founder of 4:ONE, and also the board Chair for Restorations Second Stage Homes.

Mani Choudhary  Children's Ministry Director

Mani brings over five years of experience in children’s ministry, education, and childcare. She is passionate about cultivating safe, engaging, and Jesus-centred environments where children are welcomed, valued, and supported in their faith journey. In her role, Mani provides leadership and oversight for children’s ministry programming, equipping and encouraging volunteers, and partnering closely with parents and caregivers. With a background in fine arts, early childhood education, and inclusive support for neurodivergent children, she brings creativity, strong organization, and thoughtful planning to ministry life. Known for her warmth, reliability, and collaborative leadership style, Mani leads with a heart for service and a deep commitment to nurturing children and families within the church community. 

Monica Rodriguez Office Administrator

Monica has been attending EPC since 2009. She is married and has two amazing daughters. Her primary role now includes: reception, accounting, record keeping, scheduling appointments, arranging weddings and baby dedications, and various other administrative office duties. She loves helping people. Monica speaks English and Spanish, and understands French, Italian, and Portuguese. If you want to chat with a friend who has a real passion for the Word, writing, languages, and communications without barriers, you are kindly invited to contact her.
